Replicant specialise specifically in live recording to provide new bands with the opportunity to record inexpensively and well, while more established bands use the live option on site to catalogue and pre-produce EP and album material and to release live material in a controlled environment.
Replicant provide a 12-20 channel live recording service for most occasions either on-site at Musoplex (with near-full instrument separation) or at venues from line-out mixing desks or via signal splitters. We work with Nuventure UK, Freakin' Legend, Bandsamungus and Rock n Rose Promoters recording their venues across the Midlands for radio play in the form of the RIP BOTB project.
Why live at Musoplex?
Our setup is specially designed to give typical 5-6 piece bands full separation on fully mic'd drum kits, guitar rigs. No guitar Pods, very minimal and controlled overspill.
Typically 5 to 7 songs can be recorded in a session and it provides unbeatable quality well priced demo material.
